Floor Inspection Services

Picture
Disagreements between home owners and flooring contractors are inevitable. Our inspection service is designed to help resolve those differences and work them out to everyone’s satisfaction.

There are two floor covering inspection services available:
1. Residential or Commercial inspections - This type of inspection is typically used after the installation is complete by anyone caught up in a dispute because of a carpet, resilient, hardwood, laminate, bamboo or cork floor covering issue. Any party can order an inspection. Individual inspections can also be ordered to report on acceptable conditions prior to installation.

2. Quality Assurance Program (QAP).

The QAP inspection review service is for commercial projects only and must be specified into the construction documents prior to tender. For this service a third-party inspector is assigned to the project to review specifications, report on site conditions and represent National Floor Covering Association standards as detailed in the latest addition of the Floor Covering Reference Manual of Canada. The goal of the service is to help building owners receive warrantied, quality floor coverings and to help the construction team plan ahead to meet floor covering installation requirements. For more information click here.
