Thank you for your interest in our association!

I'm Thomas Foreman, the Executive Director of the BC Floor Covering Association.

Joining the BCFCA opens the door to a community of flooring professionals who are working hard to improve standards in all areas of our industry. We accomplish our goals by educating, connecting people and creating networking opportunities that bring our members together to help shape the ever-evolving future of flooring.

The BCFCA is constantly growing and improving.  Our Board of Directors is an impressive array of industry flooring professionals with a passion for making a difference, and a commitment to developing the programs we have in our sights.

Most recently, with the help of our membership, we've successfully launched NFCA The Floor Covering Reference Manual online.  This is a huge step forward for the floor coverings industry across the country.

Along with this comes the National Floor Covering Association's Quality Assurance Program, a before, during and after, third party inspection review process that helps construction teams deliver products properly with warranties intact. This supports manufacturers and contractors alike by making process transparent and ultimately reducing claims

If you are thinking about joining our association, I invite you to read on and fill out the form below.  I look forward to your participation and meeting you at some of the great events we have planned for this year.

Our Mission

  • To promote and enable productive and collaborative relations between members, architects, designers, specifiers, general contractors, government, and all consumers.
  • To educate and inform members in all aspects of the floor covering industry through seminars, training, and special events that help meet the future needs of our industry.
  • Develop and promote programs that raise the standards of excellence in the floor covering industry, such as The Floor Covering Reference Manual and the NFCA Quality Assurance Program.
  • To raise awareness of issues and challenges facing both the industry and consumers, and develop solutions that can be put into practice.
