About the NFCA Floor Covering Reference Manual

The original manual was first issued in BC in 1980 and has since evolved into today's comprehensive and nationally recognized information source for floor covering specifications, installation practices and substrate issues.
Included are 10 specification guides (see below) for use in the Division 09 section of building instructions.
The manual also clarifies scope of work and job site responsibilities such as moisture testing, floor flatness, preparation, lighting etc. that are often the cause of disagreement between the General and Flooring Contractor.
This updated version replaces the old NFCA and BCFCA manuals with over a thousand pages of professional flooring related details and is a must for all those individuals who have an interest in floor coverings, including architects, interior designers, specification writers, trade and institution educators, students, flooring manufacturers, technical representatives, flooring distributors and retailers, flooring contractors, installers and related suppliers, property managers and home owners.
